What a fantastic Hospitality Careers Day focusing on inspiring and informing students about this great career pathway! First, a morning at The Prince Albert – students from four local high schools heard about Mike’s journey in the industry. Then into groups for activities like three-plate carrying, drink tray balancing, planning a budget-friendly day in the Abel Tasman, and a hilarious bed making competition. They also enjoyed a delicious morning tea from the Function Room Café. Then an afternoon at NMIT – a mini campus tour, exploring hospitality courses and study options. Students also got lots of hands-on fun experience with coffee making and decadent donut decoration.
